Chess2Children is a firm believer that playing and learning chess is correlated to many of life's core principles. Even though we teach to different levels of players (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) and to varying age groups, our class taught principles are similar. There is no doubt we will teach your children how to become good chess players, but we will also stress the importance of good sportsmanship, effort, hard work, and tenacity.

LEGO S.T.E.M. Robotics

A STEM-focused after school program gives students the opportunity to combine scientific discovery and team building in a fun, no-pressure environment. By using LEGO® Bricks and robotics as the conduit for learning, kids can explore concepts with a hands-on approach with the benefits of: Applied STEM concepts: Kids apply what they're learning in school to create their own tangible models. This brings classroom learning to life. See the world in new ways: Kids watch the concepts of torque and friction playing out in real-time, and begin to understand the push and pull of how things work. Grow in self-confidence: Our programs encourage students to try new things and apply complex concepts to the LEGO® Bricks in front of them. Accomplishing their goals and figuring out how to solve problems leads to a boost in self-esteem. Build teamwork skills: All projects are completed with a partner! This gives kids the chance to communicate clearly, ask for help and learn the dynamics of teamwork and sharing. After "adopting" their very own plush animal, students will role-play the key responsibilities of a vet, including how to perform a nose-to-tail exam, perform stitches, remove ticks, and much, much more! Little Medical School offers STEM activity-based classes where we strive to inspire the next generation of Healthcare Heroes. We offer globally-focused, creative activities that get kids exploring, and thinking more broadly about their role as global citizens. All of this while practicing and learning another language! (Our program is offered to all levels of Spanish speakers. Students are divided into small groups during club based on level.)
Strike Tennis Club

Strike tennis club provides junior tennis racquets & all equipment! We bring the indoor tennis courts to Nickajack. Strike tennis coaches have a fun & exciting way of teaching tennis so that every student is engaged & successful! Students get to hit a lot of balls! Coaches teach correct grips, forehands, backhands, volleys, footwork, the serve, strike zone, scoring, sportsmanship & play fun games like tennis hockey, tennis baseball, team doubles, king of the court & lots more! Team challenges have students working together to achieve goals. We love teaching tennis to kids! Tennis is a sport that keeps you exercising for your whole life! Our tennis students have lots of fun, beginner – advanced! Strike Tennis was selected by USTA to be a part of NET GENERATION and is also sponsored by PTR, HEAD & YONEX.
