In addition to PTA Enrichment Clubs, Nickajack offers several clubs for scholars to participate in. Browse below and contact the club leader for more information. Communication regarding these clubs is generally sent home in the principal and/or teacher newsletters.

Nickajack Braves Chorus
The Nickajack Braves Chorus is an after school ensemble comprised of 4th and 5th grade students from Nickajack Elementary School. The chorus regularly stages various Holiday Performances throughout the Smyrna area and participates in other performances throughout the year, such as PTA meetings, Multicultural Night, etc. Chorus practice is canceled only on days when there is no school (holidays or inclement weather). Students are expected to attend EVERY rehearsal. Routine appointments (doctor, dentist, etc.) must be scheduled at times other than that of chorus rehearsals.

Join the Green Team
Does your child enjoy gardening?
Is the 3 R's practiced in your homes?
How about investigating environmentally safe solutions?
The Nickajack Green Team may be what your child is looking for while in school. The Green Team is a free, after school club that will meet every other Wednesday. This club is only available for a limited number of students so a random draw process will be in place. Please fill out the interest form and we will add your child’s name to our drawing.

If your child was in Green Team in the past, it does NOT guarantee placement in Green Team for this year.
